Against Entropy

After a long hiatus, I've been solving all the problems that arised due to the ephemeral features of the internet. Google services are becoming more and more unreliable, many diagrams and pictures were lost after one of those services was discontinued. I recovered most losses and the posts are back with all the original information. Also, I saved all photos in Github if blogger (which is owned by Google) also decides to lose this new batch of pictures. Life and work are constant fights against entropy, which is just a big word for loss.

For cultural relevant work, like yours, my suggestion is to print a book, if necessary with one of the "print on demand" servers. A few dozens paper copies will give more long term conservation than a website

Thanks for your comment.

Author's rights are more straightforward to respect. Right now I believe I'm under fair use: the posts are completely non-profit with cultural and historical motivations, and have, imho, zero negative impact about the value of commercial games (all having many decades anyway). Writing books have the extra problem of commercial rights. And that's a more complex can of worms.
